It's not over until it's over.

So far, Saturday Kitchen has been off-limits because...why? Because Bing gave me a fish-eye when I mentioned it during Fat Tuesday? Is that enough of a reason to stay away from it for the rest of my life? No, bicarbonate of soda, NO!

Last Tuesday was the night before Ash Wednesday, known in most placces as Fat Tuesday, but, in the Church calendar it's known as Shrove Tuesday. It snowed all day today, even in Manhattan. Been sleeping in a lot lately, as late as 8:45 sometimes. Breakfast takes longer and longer, beginning with the dishes from the night before; coffee and a peanut butter bagel. By the time I'm done blogging and surfing the web it's already too late to get to Mommyland in time for lunch.
